I have been a Fan of Brian Coakley and his music since the early days of Rule 62. From that day on I was listening to everything Brian was involved in... I was also privileged to witness the magic of Brian Coakley from the production side of his music.
There simply not enough words to describe the beauty, power, and angst of your music...

I saw you guys open for The Violent Femmes a few years back. I've been hooked since the first song you played. Love your music and your ability not to be confined to one label or style. Oh...and Jamie is gorgeous. Hope to see you at the Hootenany! Keep makin' great music.

Hey I will be seeing you tonight with the B-52's and my good friend Sue Coakley wanted me to say hi from her and your brother Chris. I don't think I will be able to do that at the show so I am doing it now. Sue, Chris and I have known each other for about 30 years. I worked with Sue back in the 70's at good old Continental Insurance. Good luck with the show today.

I listened to this all summer and enjoyed it thouroughly. You rank a close 2nd for me to Dream theater, and for me that's saying a lot!!

The new album rocks. Not only the usual assortment of hard driving, booty shaking rock (Hollywood and Friends with Benefits are my favorites), but a sweet ballad that I love to hum, and then a few kick ass cover songs too. Now I can't wait to hear the new songs live. Oh yeah, and the DVD is great. I never knew James could talk!

Okay, So the story starts a couple years back at House of Blues In San Diego.. Acutually.. Im pretty Die hard and drove a couple THOUSAND miles to See X.. Yeah well What Can I Say.. :)

But this amazing band opened for them.. I was so blown away.. they even almost did hiphop haha.. But it was the sax I could'nt get over.. No really, Im serious!! And so i guess u could say i kept my eye on them.. and i made sure to get the next album when it came out.. Acutually I bought both of them.. And I liked the second one even more.. So when they started talking about this thrid record.. I've been really interested the whole time.. they even put raw pieces of work up for folks to listen to as they progressed.. That was the best.. :) But the other day when i got the album in mail.. Of course id already heard some of it.. But I was really wanting to hear how everything turned out.. And I was REALLY impressed.. I love how versatile they are.. My favorite was track 3 when jamie's voice came in and they sound like they are having this conversation.. It was very blue to say the least.. And I know the album over all had to have a splash of everything to make it a waxapples record.. and the last song on the record really brought the whole thing home.. HomeRun i should say.. But all in all you guys did a great job.. I know logisticly a tour might be a hard sell to the family.. But I would LOVE to see you play again reguardless..
